Tuesday, March 17, 2009 @ 2:00 PM My second mission trip. And this time its in Kluang, Johor. Kluang reminds me a lot of Kajang. Its a small town like Kajang except Kluang is smaller. About 8 of us (me, Eve, Shaun, Jeremiah, Joel, Simon, Yee Thong, Chee Onn and Pastor and his family) went to Kluang for a one night, two days mission trip in a church called Gereja Peace Assembly of God. The people there are nice and friendly and the church is SMALL. We arrived there about 12.30 pm after about 3 hours drive from church to Kluang. On the first day, there were nothing much to do. We attended the youth service there. There are less than 20 ppl in the youth. Miah did some icebreaker, I led worship, Shaun gave his testimony, and Joel preached the word of God. It was good.       After youth service ended, we had a whole day to ourselves and boy, we wanted to explore Kluang food but we were clueless whatsoever as to where is good to eat. On the second day, I helped Simon out with the children ministry and its my first time handling kids. I didn't know its gonna be that tough, yet it was very fun! I love kids. They're hard to handle but they're cute. *smiles* The mission trip was definitely another eye opener for me to want to serve Him more and appreciate the little little things in life. I believe there's a purpose for each and every one of God's children. A plan to prosper and not to harm. Believe it, and you'll never know what comes in your way. 0 comments |
