Tuesday, November 30, 2010 @ 6:16 PM Once again, another best friend of mine just left me behind. Three of my good friends whom I've met this year, left this year itself. Some went to further their studies overseas, but this particular best friend of mine, is leaving Malaysia to help her boyfriend out at his parents' company and is getting married! I would love to congratulate this two lovely couple Jia Wei & Lizzie on their engagement and marriage and would love to bid them farewell too as they will be leaving to China for 2 years!  I am gonna seriously miss these two sohai couple. Looking at them sometimes makes me wonder when am I going to give up on my single life and start finding a real partner, in which Lizzie always advise me to. Remembering how I first met Lizzie was funny because we clicked instantly with our craziness, and start meeting up everyday ever since for lunch, dinner, shopping, and almost everything.  Lizzie also encourages me a lot to pursue singing and also helped me out in seizing opportunities when it comes to singing, as she is a singer herself and has participated in singing contest such as Astro Talent Quest. She and her band members will be coming up with their own album very soon.    Wishing these two couple all the best again and God bless~  |

Sunday, November 7, 2010 @ 11:50 PM Fashion has made its mark on New York, Paris, Milan and London, and Malaysia has not been too far behind the state of fashion. 2nd of November 2010 marks the date of the 8th installment of Malaysia's Fashion Week at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. The city of KL were filled with fashionable and stylish crowd, girls and guys alike, celebrating fashion week. I myself, very much into fashion, but wish to have more capital to spend myself on pretty clothing and designer items, were very much excited about M-IFW 2010 and although I didn't manage to attend any of the events at fashion week, I got the chance to spread my love of fashion at Passion for Fashion event and also ULTRA Fashion Review. 2 weeks ago was the Passion for Fashion event, which was also Natacha Meunier and Josiah Mizukami's farewell party. The event was hosted by actor Josiah Mizukami and model Natacha Meunier at Bakita, Changkat. It was celebrated with some actors, scouts, models, directors, and photographers from JM Production, bloggers and of course, the hosts' close friends.     At the meantime, ULTRA, a high fashion label has just launched its exclusive showcase installation for M-IFW 2010, 'The ULTRA Peep Show' outside the entrance of Pavilion, situated near La Bodega, allowing shoppers to literally peep inside the box and discover the blueprints of ULTRA's latest spring/summer 2010 collection.  Thanks to Kelvin Lee and Hanie Hidayah, I got the chance to personally view the collections. Boasting of organic materials, soy and bamboo fibres, recycled PET and salmon skin, ULTRA is an eco label, designed by Jonathan Liang and Tengku Shahmi, with aims of potraying individuality and discover a whole new meaning of futuristic and edgy fashion line.  I absolutely heart their geometrical cut outs and their thin, satin material, unlike the heavy prints and material that Malaysians always fancy. ULTRA will be making their way to Malaysia very soon, ranging from RM900 to RM1500 or USD300 onwards, depending on the design and material, which I think is absolutely worth investing. Sunday, September 12, 2010 @ 5:15 AM Greetings. First of all, I would like to wish all my muslim friends, Selamat Hari Raya! Have a safe journey back to your hometown, party safe, enjoy your hearty meals with your family and be responsible on the road! :) Speaking of which, coincidentally on the first day of Raya, a good friend of mine, Jia Wei, went back to his hometown in China. So yesterday morning, we bid our goodbyes and farewells at the airport. Although I've known you for less than a year, Jia Wei, you and Lizzie have been a good friend to me and will definitely miss our sohai moments, including listening to you singing for the first time during your farewell karaoke session! We had our farewell karaoke session a week before Jia Wei left to China at Ampsquare, Pyramid together with Lizzie, Kelvin, Kotaro and Taiga.  Jia Wei, Lizzie, Me, Kelvin Lizzie Taiga Ikemi  Taiga & Kotaro! The two Japanese dudes. I swear Kelvin is getting orgasm from the chicken wings. Tsk tsk.Sing sing sing!  Lizzie is already a singer at Dolphin, Sunway Mentari and she has a brilliant voice!  Kotaro was all out during sing k session! Hehe  Farewell again my friend, Jia Wei! Hope you and Lizzie reached safely at China. when it is time to say goodbye.. First Roy, and now Mini.. Although I've only known you for a short while, Shamini, you've been a GREAT FRIEND and a GREAT HOUSEMATE! I can't believe you left to Aussie already.. I remember first time meeting you and thinking, "Oh gosh, this girl is more insane than me!" She's insanely fun  insanely retarded   and yes, insanely HOT!  Im gonna miss you so much Mini! The gossiping, the night outs, the retarded things we do together at home...  our memories at Pitbull's concert!   |
